Well Mom, you would probably have the most vivid memory of that! I don't remember it at all...

I think its safe to say Emmalee was in the corner with her thumb in her mouth, and win was wandering around somewhere asking the doctor what he wears a white lab coat for...at which point the doctor got really mad and was like who is this kid, does he ever shut up? Just my thoughts....

Actually, I do...not necessarily the day he was born, but when mom was in the hospital. I remember going to visit and riding in the wheelchair, and I remember Aunt Stella babysitting Em & me while dad visited, then he took us to Burger King....

I remember that too Win........taking you and Emma to visit. We brought mom and andrew down in the elevator. Of course the 'coming home' is captured on the video you all did for us last christmas. I also recall that the day Andrew was born was the busiest day of the year at the restaurant. Poor PawPaw and Grammy had to work without us.

Andrew's birth was the first for Dr. Kerns in his practice in Front Royal (Front Royal Family Practice). His wife (a nurse) was also present at the birth. She asked if she could be in the delivery room because it had been such a long time since she had seen a delivery. They were particularly interested because we were one of the very first family patients they had when they opened the practice in Front Royal. Their first child (Meagan) was born just weeks afterward in December.
