It is going to be very, very quiet on the compound for the next couple of days. Dad is in South Carolina and Grammy has gone to Williamsburg. Just Cleo and me to hold down the fort in the cold!

Well Mom, I guess you'll have plenty of uninterrupted knitting/studying time... don't throw any wild parties, Cleo might tell on you.
No worries there! cleo is kind of mute when it comes to what goes on in Browntown. I mean, she thinks the deer are her new brothers and sisters, why else would she put up with them sleeping INCHES from the back door???
It's been cold here too. We had snow flurries all day today. Made for a cold morning at the corn maze playing "Oh Deer" with 100 3rd graders.
speaking from South Carolina, people here are CRAZZZZZZZED i tell ya, that they had ICE on windshields!! nothing that a couple of mins. of defrost couldn't take care of, however, I made it clear that I couldn't WAIT to go back north, where it was warmer!
Who is this "mreyeball" that is posting on the Browntown blog???? Oh wait, is that my long-lost brother??????
