"All Hell Breaks Loose"

It's true, I've seen the first snow flake this morning. I'd post a picture, but it melted too quick! "All Hell Breaks Loose" as mom rushes around before dawn bringing in plants from the deck. Cleo very confused. Schools close in West Virginia. I leave for South Carolina where temps are in the 60's. Typical week in Browntown. More later.

Just the mental picture makesme laugh...mom frantic, schools shutting down, Cleo standing watching it all in bewilderment, and you dad, "Well, Im off to sunny Charleston, Ill see you next week. Have fun with that!"

It was quite comical, I must admit. Those of you (Win, Emma & Andrew) KNOW what the scene was like. However, it is now after 8pm and all is well! Mom and Grammy have rescued all the plants (I'm sure I'll have to step over them) and all are safe and sound JUST inside the back door so that I'll trip over them when I return home on Friday. The good news is, I arrive home on Friday mid-day so I won't trip over them in the night. I can only hope that Cleo is as observant when she is let out !

If I can figure out how to work the camera and post pix I will take some pictures of the beautiful begonias that sat on the deck this summer. They are sitting in the kitchen now. I am going to try to take some cuttings and propagate them so Em can have some for the house on Ruply (yard and inside) along with some of the Cuban oregano that is so pretty and useful.
